The latest problems in the financial markets affected a number of institutions. Long-lasting perturbations could threaten financial stability of a country. Banks are still trying to find the best solution to avoid consequences of subprime crisis. In the light of recent market events, managing liquidity risk is one of the most important tasks of the bank management. Despite having safe credit policy Polish banks are also exposed to global crisis consequences because of connections with foreign banks and foreign markets.

The international conference LIQUIDITY CRISIS MANAGEMENT is a unique opportunity to gain insight into the reasons of financial crisis, possible consequences and methods of prevention. This conference will enable you to gather a good understanding of the liquidity risk and the different tools and techniques for managing this type of risk. We have invited the representatives of the supervisory authorities as well as practitioners. The two-day program will provide an in-depth analysis of liquidity crisis together with insight on the new regulatory framework. We will pay attention on specific areas such as new norms of liquidity and explore the differences between Polish and German liquidity regulations and practice.
